Abstract

"Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment of Pneumoftiziatric Diseases - Pazardzhik" Ltd. is a consultative, diagnostic and medical establishment serving the population of the entire Pazardzhik region.(1)
Aim. The general goal of "Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment of Pneumonia and Tuberculosis Diseases with Hospital - Pazardzhik" Ltd. is to provide highly specialized and high quality inpatient and consultative health care to all patients, in a timely manner and in sufficient volume. This is done by applying the latest methods for diagnosis, follow-up and prevention of patients.Management and development of "Specialized hospital active treatment of pneumoftiziatric diseases - Pazardjik - EOOD" for three year period.(2)
Materials and Methods. The activity of the Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment of Pneumonia and Phthisiology is based on the rules of good medical practice and is in accordance with the medical standards according to the MEDICAL STANDARD "PNEUMOLOGY AND PHTISIATRY". The main activities, which are carried out in SBALFPZ - Pazardzhik, are specified in the Regulations for the structure, activity and internal order of the company. They are:
Hospital specialized assistance in the field of:
(a) pulmonary diseases
(b) interdisciplinary diagnosis and treatment(3)
Results. This analysis examines the data for a three-year period (2016-2018) focused on the following main indicators:
• Usability of beds
• Turnover of beds
• Average stay of one patient. The specific values are shown in Table 2.
The number of planned beds traced for the period 2016-2018 remained almost unchanged in 2016 and 2018, and in 2017 with a tendency to decrease by nearly 5000 beds.
The number of vacancies in 2016 was the highest, and in 2017 significantly declined. This logically affects the average annual usability of beds, which in 2016 was the highest and significantly declined in 2017.
Conclusions. Establishing a very good organization of work in the hospital, the proper allocation of responsibilities for medical activities among all medical professionals, continuous training and qualification.
