THE DEVELOPMENT OF TERRORISM IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Terrorism represents the greatest threat to the security of society and the state. It has become a common
phenomenon of political and social movements, which knows no borders. The aim of the work is to present the state
of Bosnia and Herzegovina when it comes to terrorism in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A review of the available
literature was performed using general scientific methods. The research results should confirm the scientific and
social significance of this research. It is concluded that extremist groups remain the biggest source of terrorism in
Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that very little progress has been achieved in rehabilitation and de-radicalization.
