Abstract

This report analyzes the digital transformation in pedagogical practice through a custom-developed web platform that facilitates interaction between the student, primary teacher, and academic mentor. The study explores the theoretical foundations of digitalization in education, the significance of digital competences, and European policies shaping the preparation of future teachers.
The report provides an overview of the platform and its core functionalities, including practice management, communication tools, assessment mechanisms, and automated reporting. These features enhance communication efficiency, reduce administrative workload, improve the quality of reflection, and ensure high accountability. The analysis addresses both the benefits and challenges of implementing digital tools in pedagogical practice, offering best practices and recommendations for optimization. Digital transformation is identified as a key factor in modernizing the educational process and fostering competent, adaptive, and confident future teachers. In this context, web platforms emerge as indispensable tools that streamline coordination among participants, improve methodological preparation, and support students’ professional growth.
A successful digital transition requires not only technological solutions but also a redefinition of participant roles in practical training. Emphasis is placed on active collaboration between academic mentors, primary teachers, and students, creating an environment for structured, transparent, and supportive pedagogical practice. Academic mentors gain opportunities for remote monitoring, timely feedback, and comprehensive tracking of students’ professional development. Primary teachers benefit from clear task structures, automated documentation, and more effective assessment tools. Students develop skills in planning, analysis, reflection, and self-assessment within a digital environment that mirrors contemporary school practices.
The platform strengthens collaboration among all stakeholders, facilitates methodological support, and improves coordination between schools and higher education institutions. Digital interaction promotes active learning, accountability, and professional engagement. As a result, pedagogical practice becomes more transparent, structured, and effective for all participants in the learning process.
