Abstract

The report addresses the issue of the relationship between reading and writing, which deserves serious attention regarding the clarification of the reflection that an emotionally saturated reading development has on the creative written works of elementary students. It is in such types of written works that the positive results of properly understood and creatively implemented reading instruction can be seen most clearly. In this sense, the interaction between reading and writing is truly favorable when they take place in an atmosphere of strong and deeply experienced emotionality. The main preparation for this occurs during the development of readings, when students are enriched not only with factual knowledge but also with strong emotional experiences. Here, the prolonged emotional excitement of the children plays the most important role, enabling the cognitive tasks of reading instruction to be solved quite effortlessly and successfully. The more carefully and attentively the teacher prepares to introduce students to the content and atmosphere of the reading material, the more completely they involve them in its ideological-emotional content through skillful unfolding of the artistic richness of the work, using various means for this purpose, the greater the educational and formative results will be.
