Abstract

The people involved in each activity are crucial to its success. This applies even more to social activities, because one of the most important features of social activities is that in its implementation – the role of people in many cases cannot be replaced by technique and technology. Therefore, the implementation of each of the social activities requires people with specific competencies, able to show creativity and empathy for the users of relevant services.
The article examines the essence of human resource management in organizations performing social activities. The main information components of the human resources management system in the organizations are presented.
The characteristics of the individual components of the system of human resources management and social entrepreneurship are presented in the context of rules and procedures that are crucial for the effective functioning of organizations performing social activities.
By the organizing, the selection, training and motivation of staff largely determines the successful operation of organizations.
Therefore, one of the main goals of social entrepreneurship is to provide the necessary people for the activity who have specific competencies (personal qualities, knowledge, skills and attitudes).
