Abstract

The effective management of an educational institution largely depends on the leadership skills of the school principal. This role is very sensitive and requires recognizing the qualities of a leader or leader in every segment of the director's work. The modern director should be a visionary leader, friend, trainer, democrat, leader in order to successfully lead his team. The leader should also have developed technical skills, collective work skills, conceptual and analytical skills. There is a great value of directors who manage to create an ethical business environment in which the potential of all employees will be fully expressed, by establishing a climate of cooperation characterized by democratic processes and established democratic values. This paper emphasizes the values and skills that employees value as the most important for the work climate and communications in schools. True directors need to make people feel important, set clear goals for their followers, always take responsibility for their actions and the actions of the group, give public recognition, and criticize in private
