The dynamics of everyday life, in which modern man is subjected to information pressure and overload, designs alternative methods and means for effective perception, comprehension and reproduction of the received information. In solving and overcoming the procedural relationship information-knowledge-memory-reproduction, new instrumental solutions are increasingly being established. Digital technologies - online platforms and educational digital resources, create an environment for optimizing cognitive processes, which increases the quality of knowledge, skills and develops abilities. Information and computer technologies restructure the framework of the traditional educational process, while at the same time compiling unique opportunities and perspectives. In this digital universe, one of the resources that is becoming increasingly popular and adaptively applicable in the educational process is microlearning. In view of the possibilities and proven effectiveness of microlearning in the educational process, at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts „Prof. Asen Diamandiev” – Plovdiv is implementing a project aimed at researching and implementing this approach in teaching English for students and doctoral students in the specialty of classical singing. Models in teaching English for students and doctoral students in vocal classes – classical singing have been tested. The experiment focuses on the synergy: text-music, sound-intonation by providing phonetic and musical-rhythmic micro tasks. The emphasis in these tasks is to achieve more accurate articulation and diction in order to improve the musical-processual construction in melodic structures. Confidence and psychological comfort in the clear and expressive pronunciation of the literary text activates the artistic and interpretive skills of the performers, which are a prerequisite for an impactful stage incarnation and successful communication with the audience.
This study presents a structural model for e-learning with the possibility of microlearning, a basic resource for greater confidence in the performance of the English repertoire, thanks to improved language proficiency and articulation.
