MASTERPIECE IN CONTEMPORARY CULTURE

This paper investigates the concept of "masterpiece" within the framework of contemporary culture, analyzing how this dimension has evolved in response to changes in artistic, social, and technological landscapes. Contemporary masterpieces often reflect diverse voices and global perspectives, challenging traditional criteria for excellence and originality. By examining examples from digital media, we will explore the criteria that qualify a work as one of high artistic value today. The role of social media, globalization, and collaborative artistic forms will be addressed, highlighting the democratization of the artistic process. With a critical approach, this research aims to redefine what constitutes a masterpiece in our rapidly changing world, drawing on theories from cultural studies and artistic criticism.
