COACHING IN TECHNOLOGY AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING

Coaching is a new field in pedagogical practice. It is associated with coaching skills of active listening, asking questions, showing interest in students, creating a supportive environment, giving feedback to increase students' self-awareness and responsibility. The paper presents the results from an expert evaluation of the application of coaching skills in technology and entrepreneurship training in the 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. Twenty experts with knowledge and qualifications in coaching and technology and entrepreneurship training took part in the study. An expert rubric consisting of six questions was used for that purpose. The experts made their evaluation using a three-point scale: low degree, average degree, and high degree. The analysis of the results from the expert evaluation shows that the experts assessed the possibility for application of coaching skills in technology and entrepreneurship training as viable to an average/high degree.
