PRACTICAL ASPECTS OF APPLYING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGIES IN EDUCATION

In the contemporary era, the development of information technology, the process of digitisation, and the rapid generation of new artificial intelligence-derived technologies exert a direct influence on the transformation of educational processes and teaching activities at all levels of education. Combining emotional intelligence capabilities with new AI-powered technologies will enable universities to keep pace with the times and maintain a competitive advantage in the educational services market. As AI tools are integrated into the higher education system, the need to develop strategies and tactics for the practical application of various AI platforms that support university activities is becoming increasingly urgent. However, the rapid development of AI platforms has resulted in a lack of experience and best practice among educators in achieving synergistic interaction between artificial and natural intelligence in an organised educational environment. In this environment, the capabilities of artificial intelligence to automate the process of creating educational materials can be regarded as a tool for improving the quality of the educational process. In this sense, the primary objective of the present study is to explore the possibilities of using educational platforms based on artificial intelligence to optimise the activities of educators in higher education and in the process of developing didactic materials. In this regard, the presented study consideres examples of the use of online platforms with artificial intelligence in pedagogical practice, their functionality, and advantages for lecturers. The procedural characteristics of artificial intelligence technologies are presented in order to define and describe its functions in the process of application in higher education. Particular attention is paid to the possibilities of AI for automating the process of creating educational materials and its role in improving the quality of the educational process. As a result of the conducted research, valuable conclusions have been drawn about the enormous range of applications of artificial intelligence-based technologies in the educational process and the disclosure of the educational potential of AI with the aim of optimizing the work of teachers in higher education.
