Abstract

By definition, erectile dysfunction (ED) is defined as the persistent inability to achieve or maintain a sufficient erection for satisfactory sexual performance. (Rosen RC et al., 1997). In scientific and clinical terms, ED should be understood as inherently related to specific comorbidities, including: cardiovascular diseases and hypertension, diabetes mellitus, lower urinary tract symptoms, prostate cancer, depression. Clinically, the ED pathogenesis involves multiple factors. Among them, as main ones, we can highlight the following four components and aspects: vascular, neurological, hormonal and psychological factors. This paper presents some of the possibilities for rehabilitation and non-invasive protective measures related to ED.
Objective: To present and evaluate various rehabilitation methods and non-invasive therapies addressing erectile dysfunction, with the goal of developing a comprehensive, multispectral approach to treatment.
Research Tasks:
1. Analysis of Existing Therapies:
A systematic review of current therapeutic practices and methods used in the treatment of ED within the context of alternative medicine and rehabilitation sciences.
2. Experimental Group and Data Analysis: Formation of an experimental group undergoing specific rehabilitation interventions. The analysis of collected data is intended to inform the development of a unified therapeutic model. The results and conclusions will be presented in a subsequent publication.
3. Hypothesis Testing: Evaluation of the hypothesis that optimal recovery and prevention of erectile dysfunction require a holistic treatment strategy. This includes the integration of conventional clinical medicine with alternative and non-traditional therapeutic approaches.
Hypothesis: Erectile dysfunction can be effectively treated and prevented through a combination of modern clinical innovations and increasingly comprehensive alternative therapeutic solutions.
