Abstract

Vladimir Suteev’s work has found its addressee during his lifetime – preschool children and primary school students. As a synthesis of research in the field of literature and fine arts, it provides great opportunities for methodological discoveries at the edge of several academic disciplines – literature for children and adolescents, methodology of teaching Bulgarian language and literature, methodology of teaching fine arts, art therapy. In addition, it allows for similar studies in the field of special pedagogy.
The study of Vladimir Suteev's fairy tales aims to enrich the pedagogical creativity of students and prepare them to make unconventional decisions in their role as future teachers. It relies on the biographical method, on non-traditional approaches to the author's works of art and their educational merits.
The "new reading" of Vladimir Suteev's fairy tales can be minimized /in the field of special pedagogy/ and maximized /in the field of teaching literature and fine arts/. In the first case, it contributes to the inclusion of children and students with SEN in the learning environment, and in the second, it supports the development of creative abilities in specific areas of literature and fine arts.
Within the framework of their self-training and with the help of consultations from the teachers, the students themselves classify the literary works of Vladimir Suteev:
- according to the addressee - fairy tales for children and fairy tales for adults;
- according to the content - fantastic, realistic and mixed;
- according to the messages – didactic and with indirect artistic suggestion;
- according to the form – a fairy tale narrative in paper format and animated fairy tales.
They create film lessons for the elementary school and film tales for kindergarten, which have a mobile structure and are the result of their personal pedagogical creativity. In turn, future resource teachers learn to adapt the educational content according to the specifics of the diseases of their graduates.
In this way, Vladimir Suteev's film tales can be applied as an effective interdisciplinary resource that provokes artistic and linguistic creativity in the pedagogical process. In this context, film tales are seen as a pedagogical tool with a wide range of applications in teaching and upbringing.
