Abstract

The article is theoretical and methodological in nature and examines opportunities for applying generative artificial intelligence to students’ career guidance through technology and entrepreneurship education. Based on an analysis of specialised literature, educational documents, and the curricula for Grades 8 and 9, content areas suitable for integrating AI-supported learning activities are identified. A methodological framework is proposed that includes self-awareness, AI-assisted exploration of occupations, verification of generated information, critical evaluation, and independent decision-making. The activities are organised according to the levels of the revised Bloom’s taxonomy. The article argues that generative AI should be used as a supporting informational and reflective tool rather than as a substitute for the teacher or career counsellor. Conditions for pedagogically appropriate, critical, and safe use with students are outlined.
