Modern manufacturing systems face growing complexity, dynamic market demands, and the need for sustainable, flexible development. In this context, Industry 5.0 represents an approach that emphasizes integrating advanced technologies with a human-centered perspective in manufacturing systems. Artificial intelligence enables the analysis of large volumes of data, process optimization, and improved decision-making, while lean systems focus on eliminating waste and increasing value. This paper analyzes the integration of artificial intelligence with lean systems within the Industry 5.0 framework, drawing on relevant scientific literature. The results indicate that this integration enables the development of proactive and predictive manufacturing systems that improve efficiency, productivity, and quality. Furthermore, the paper proposes a conceptual framework that explains the relationship among artificial intelligence, lean systems, and the principles of Industry 5.0, contributing to the systematization of existing knowledge and the identification of research gaps to support future empirical research and practical application in modern industrial systems.
