MORAL VALUES AND FORMATION OF MORAL CONSCIOUSNESS

Abstract

Morality is the inner ability of a person to distinguish good from evil and to transform moral principles into real behavior. Morality is not limited to external compliance with rules and norms, but implies internal inclusion in a value system that orients a person in his relations with himself, with others and with the world. In this sense, moral values have not only a regulatory, but also a formative function, since they participate in the construction of the personality as a moral and social subject.
The research methodology of the study includes the problem of the role of the family as the first social and educational environment for the assimilation of values by children. In the family, qualities such as sympathy, responsiveness, gratitude and culture of communication are formed, and in unfavorable relations, opposite characteristics such as selfishness, indifference and rudeness can also develop. This shows that moral values are not absorbed abstractly, but are built in a specific emotional and social environment in which the child observes, experiences and reproduces models of behavior. The family stands out as a major factor in the formation of moral behavior and the stabilization of the moral orientations of the personality.
The results show that the classification of values is of central importance in social psychological and sociological research, since values function as stable regulators of behavior, orient the choice of goals and actions and structure the individual's attitude to social reality. They not only reflect what a person considers important, but also shape the way in which he perceives, evaluates and arranges the world around him. In this regard, overcoming cognitive dismoderate intercommunication that encourages children to aggression can be achieved through the assimilation of values by children.
