DEPENDENCIES BETWEEN VARIABLES FOR SKILL AND PERFORMANCE IN FEMALE BASKETBALL COMPETITORS FROM THE «MIZIA» AREA

The psychological impact is of particular importance for sport and its effective practice. Its study and intensive development influence the success in sports mastery. Each type of sport is characterized by its own individual psychological model. In the specific study, correlation analysis is applied, through which the existence of relationships between two or more variables is ascertained and the level of stochastic interdependence between the components is assessed.
The aim of the experiment is to determine and analyze the interdependencies between the determinants of mastery and performance in 13–14-year-old basketball players from the "Mizia" area.
In the upcoming study, the following tasks are formulated:
- To reveal and determine the dependencies between the variables of mastery and performance in adolescent basketball players from the "Mizia" area.
- To compare and analyze the correlation matrices of the signs informing about the mastery and performance of the studied 13–14-year-old basketball players from the four studied teams.
56 basketball players (14 per team) aged 13–14 from the teams of "Chardafon", Gabrovo, "Dunav Ruse 2016", Ruse, "Svetkavitsa", Targovishte and "Spartak-Pl", Pleven were studied. The experiment was conducted at the end of the training and competition year.
The correlation analysis was implemented using the software program SPSS 29.0.
The sequence of the experiment includes: Study of mastery and performance using the already tested in practice - PMCSQ - 2. It contains 33 questions and treats two dimensions:
– mastery – related to the task (17 questions).
– performance – related to the ego (16 questions).
From the analysis done so far, it can be said that 13–14-year-old female basketball players from the three sports clubs – «Dunav Ruse 2016», «Svetkavitsa» and «Spartak-Pl», develop the knowledge and skills they receive from their coaches and work diligently on their personal improvement. The success that these players achieve during competitions is a consequence of them.
Conclusion:
- Comparing the correlation matrices of the four studied populations, it was found that the largest number of statistically significant interdependencies was in the group from SC «Spartak-Pl», and the smallest in the sample from SC «Chardafon».
- The results of the four correlation-structural models determine a lasting relationship between «role significance» and «joint learning» in the studied 13–14-year-old female basketball players.
- In three of the teams – «Dunav Ruse 2016», «Svetkavitsa» and «Spartak-Pl», a completely logical dependence is observed in the performance of the competitors, between the variables «unfair recognition» and «rivalry».
- Improvement is also a very important component of the training process of basketball players and this is evident from the large number of correlations it makes with other variables, again in the teams from «Dunav Ruse 2016», «Svetkavitsa» and «Spartak-Pl».
